About This Course
This course is based on FIGO wellness wheel with emphasis on 5 major topics which are instrumental in building a healthy society . The course certified by HSSC (Healthcare Sector Skill Council) with ARTIST for her ( Asian Research & Training Institute for Skill Transfer) as a training partners in association with orgnisations including State and National professional bodies like AHPI, KCOG and KSOGA..
The focus is on LIFE COURSE APPROACH with modules on
Anemia & Nutrition,
Menstrual health and hygiene,
Contraception,
Cervical cancer screening with focus on HPV vaccinations,
high risk pregnancies including GDM & hypertension,
Mental health a
nd Menopause.
The course gives basic knowledge on all these topics to empower the Sakhis with confidence and knowledge to reach the community with awareness messages and guide them for further action to ensure their wellness
Bridging the knowledge and practice gaps with correct understanding of key issues around wellness and preventive care
Learning Objectives
Material Includes
- 6 sessions online each session for 60 min (total 6 hours)
- Two onsite sessions at their workplace / including field work.
- Completed within 10 weeks with submission of assignments
- Certification Mechanism - Online theory exams and submission of reports and log books on the field work done.
Requirements
- ASHA AND FRONTLINE HEALTHCARE PROVIDERS working in private setting for over 3 months.
- 8th, 10th and 12th Std also eligible.
- Frontline healthcare providers from across the private sector and community volunteers

Nutrition across life course with emphasis on anemia management.
