COLLABORATIONS FOR CAPACITY BUILDING AND SKILL TRANSFER

OBJECTIVE

Design and develop Education and Training Programs with the help of Asian Research And Training Institute For Skill Transfer (ARTIST)) focused on short term digital skill transfer courses for maternity and new born frontline workers in India and for Educational Institutions/ Universities. The idea is to align with protocol-based recommended practices for antenatal care, safe delivery, newborn care and immunization, declared as essential services by the Ministry of Health and Family Planning. Guidelines to be followed for skill transfer to staff nurses, frontline providers and housekeeping and teams at various hospitals.

ROLE

ARTIST will function as a Training Partner and collaborate with all stakeholders working towards upskilling of frontline healthcare providers, both in the public and private systems and build their competence and confidence for preventive, promotive and curative healthcare in a lifecourse approach.Standard protocols for care of girls and women across all age groups remains the focus for capacity building.

COURSE CURRICULUM

Each of the courses around maternal and new born care are stratified as per targets for capacity building and encompass adolescent care, pre pregnancy care, antenatal , intrapartum and post natal care and long term care of menopausal women . Each session will have a focus on skill transfer and will be interactive roleplay and case based discussion after the structured deliberation.

ELIGIBILITY

Frontline healthcare providers, community volunteers, ASHA workers, hospital staff including frontoffice/admin and housekeeping medical officers, postgraduates, specialist obgyns, Institutions and maternity hospitals

EVALUATION

Each batch will take weekly sessions of 90 min duration for six weeks . we have two to three such batches ongoing every six weeks pretest is always taken online. every session will have a mandate of submission of assignments on our LMS platform through an app ARTIST HEALTH SKILL ACADEMY. mock test and post test will conclude the training for the batch with the recommendation to appear for assesment or repeat the training At the end of the training , they will have a mock test and get set for assesment and certification by third party

Enhancement in confidence to perform the skill as evidenced by video demo and documents

Adherence to protocols for ensuring preventive care, early recognition of complications and management

MMR ;IMR ; Transfers: Blood Transfusions; Counselling and coverage of Quality care with safety .
